What is the minimum initial deposit required to open an account?
The minimum amount required to open an account with Optimus Futures is $500.
What type of account can I open with Optimus Futures?
You can open the following account types:Individual, Joint, IRA, Superannuation, Corporate, LLC, Partnership and Trust.
Do you allow Canadians to open accounts?
Yes - We accept all Non-Solicited Self-Directed Canadian futures traders when you Open an Optimus Futures account with select FCM’s.
Is Optimus Futures regulated?

Are my funds segregated?
Yes - In order to comply with CFTC 1.25 (which is a Federal regulation), our FCM’s (clearing firms) must ensure proper segregation of customer funds.
What is an FCM?
Futures Clearing Merchant (FCM’s) work with the exchanges to handle confirmation, delivery, and settlement of transactions. In addition, they hold customer funds and supply statements to clients, acting as the exchange liaisons for brokers.
Can I take my money out at any time?
Yes – As long as there are no open positions, clients are free to withdraw 100% of their funds at any time.
