In observance of the National Day of Mourning for former President Jimmy Carter, below is a listing of trading hours for the CME Group on Thursday, January 9th, 2025:
Please note the following CME Globex schedules for Trade Date Thursday, January 9, 2025, the National Day of Mourning in observance of the passing of Former President Jimmy Carter. All times referenced in the schedule are Central Time.
INTEREST RATES: CME Globex trading session for interest rate products will have an early close of 12:15 p.m. C.T. on January 9, 2025. Settlement prices will be derived at 12:00 p.m. C.T.
EQUITY INDEX: CME Globex trading hours for CME and CBOT U.S.-based equity products on January 9, 2025 will include an abbreviated session, closing after overnight trading at 8:30 a.m. C.T. U.S.-based equity products will reopen at their regularly scheduled time on January 9, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. C.T., for trade date of January 10, 2025 International Equity Index products will have normal trading and clearing hours. Settlement prices for all U.S.-based equity products will be the prior day prices carried forward.
EVENT CONTRACTS: All U.S.-based equity Event Contracts will be closed for trading on January 9, 2025. All other Event Contracts will have a normal trading day. Relevant settlement prices will be derived at normal time.
AGRICULTURE: The CME Globex trading session for these products will have an early close of 12:15 p.m. C.T. on January 9, 2025. Settlement prices will be derived at 12:00 p.m. C.T.
CRYPTO, ENERGY, COMMODITY INDEXES, FX AND METALS, AND ALL PRODUCTS TRADED ON THE EBS PLATFORM: The CME Globex trading session for these products will have a normal trading day on January 9, 2025. All transactions submitted on CME ClearPort will have normal hours. Settlement prices will be derived at normal time.
All Other Products: All previously published expirations and other dates for all other products shall apply.
