How to Improve Speed of Execution: Four Simple Tips

How to Improve Speed of Execution: Four Simple Tips
The Matt Z Trading Show: Episode 5

Matt Z shares some tips to improve your speed of execution while trading futures online.

1. Avoid WiFi – use a hard-wired or Ethernet connection instead.

2. Avoid Program Overload – the fewer programs you have running on your computer while you’re trading, the faster your execution and the more stable your platform will be.

3. Test different feeds – Some data feeds work better with certain platforms than others. Try out a few different feeds with your platform to see what works best for you.

4. Try remote hosting – consider finding a hosting service that employs a virtual private server or a dedicated server. This is especially helpful if you live far away from the exchange on which you’re trading and/or if you are utilizing automated trading scripts.
