Here are the different options Tradingview provides:<\/h4><\/div><\/div><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/optimusfutures.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Tradingview-Trade-Duration.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"515\" height=\"522\" \/><\/p><div><div><ul><li><em><strong>Day<\/strong>: Order is canceled at the end of the trading session if not filled.<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong>GTC<\/strong>: Good Till Cancelled \u2013 Order remains open until canceled by the trader.<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong>FOK<\/strong>: Fill or Kill \u2013 Order that requires the entire quantity to be executed immediately or the order is canceled.<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong>FAK<\/strong>: Fill and Kill \u2013 Order cancels any remaining quantity in the case of a partial.<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong>GTT<\/strong>: Good Till Time \u2013 Order remains open until a specified time. Beyond that time, any unfilled lots are canceled.<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong>GTD<\/strong>: Good Till Day \u2013 Order remains open until the date specified by the trader.<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong>ATO<\/strong>: Order becomes active at the Open.<\/em><\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>Symbol:<\/strong>\u00a0 You can change the symbol (market) here<\/h4><h4><strong>Quantity:<\/strong>\u00a0Adjust the amount of contracts you want to buy or sell here.<\/h4><\/div><div><h2>How to Execute Trades on TradingView Charts<\/h2><p>You can also place Limit or Stop orders directly from your charts. To do this, click on the price level on your chart where you want to execute your order.<\/p><p>Next, choose either Limit or Stop. TradingView will then automatically pick up the price based on your mouse position.<\/p><p>This is especially helpful when you want to set stop-loss and take-profit orders for your actual trades.<\/p><p>For example, when you are in a Buy trade, you\u2019d click above the current price and select Sell Limit to set a take-profit order and you\u2019d click below the price and select Sell Stop to set a stop-loss order.<\/p><\/div><\/div><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/optimusfutures.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Executing-orders-directly-from-your-Tradingview-chart.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"624\" height=\"293\" \/><\/p><div><div><h2>Trading Settings<\/h2><p>TradingView allows you to adjust the settings so that you can determine how and what is being displayed on your charts when it comes to orders and executions.<\/p><p>You can access the regular settings and then click on the tab Trading to see the different settings.<\/p><ul><li><em><strong>Show Positions<\/strong>: Displays your executed trades on your charts.<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong>Show Orders<\/strong>: Shows working orders that haven\u2019t been executed.<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong>Extend Lines Left<\/strong>: Marks the price level of your executed orders.<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong>Show executions<\/strong>: Shows closed trades on your charts.<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong>Show Buy\/Sell Panel<\/strong>: Places the Buy\/Sell feature directly onto your charts.<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong>Show Active Orders Only<\/strong>: Displays the active orders on your charts.<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong>Require Order Confirmation<\/strong>: Disables one-click order execution once checked<\/em><\/li><\/ul><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/optimusfutures.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Tradingview-Trading-Settings.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"624\" height=\"389\" \/><\/p><\/div><div><h2>TradingView Position Management and Live Trades<\/h2><p>Once you\u2019ve executed your trade, the trade details will be visible on your chart.
